Paul Osborne has twenty-three years of experience in public accounting and private industry. Paul graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, in 1978. Following graduation he joined the staff of the firm of D. W. Fleming, CPA, P.C., and ultimately became a principle in the firm. He received his CPA certificate in November 1980.
At various times Paul has taught accounting for Lewis and Clark Community College and for Lincoln Land Community College.
In January 1987 Paul joined Pritchard, Osborne, LLC where he continues to specialize in auditing, corporate taxation, and tax and financial planning with an emphasis on small business. Paul is a member of the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed as a CPA in Illinois as well as Missouri.
In addition to other professional engagements, his experience includes:
- Controllership of a power transmission distribution company in St. Louis, Missouri.
- Controllership of a long distance resale business in St. Louis, Missouri.
- Audits of local financial institutions from 1979 through current.
- Assistance and consulting on employee benefit plans including cafeteria plans and pension plans.
- Successful completion of the training for Certified Valuation Analysis.
Paul has participated in the start-up, growth, and eventual sale of small businesses, including telemarketing, personal services, and distribution companies.
Paul is active in numerous local charitable and civic organizations.
